Driving the Canning Stock Route means crossing over 1000 sand dunes in a vast stabilised dune field crossing the Great Sandy Desert and the Gibson Desert. In this episodes, we encounter wrecks of vehicle that did not make it, feral camels, drive over many dunes, camp on the edge of a red mud flat, enjoy a spectacular Milky Way galaxy, fly the Mavic Pro drone and top up our water supplies on our route south.

The Canning Stock Route is a track that runs from Halls Creek in the Kimberley region of Western Australia to Wiluna in the mid-west region. With a total distance of around 1,850 km (1,150 mi) it is the longest historic stock route in the world. Once used as a route for cattle droves following a series of wells, it is now mainly used by adventure seekers looking for a challenge and solitude in the Australian outback. The last cattle drove the route in the 1930's.
